- Prepare, posts, verifies and records customer payments and transactions.
- Creates invoices according to company practices.
- Maintains and update customer files.
- Draft correspondence for standard past due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts and contact account holder to request payments.
- Create reports.
- Reconciles accounts receivable on a periodic basis.
- Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
- Relay changes of information to appropriate employees.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to operate computer, 10-key calculator, and copier.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills. Attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
- At least 2 years of related experience.
